About

We exist to create opportunities for communities of women to rest in the presence of the Holy Spirit and practice abiding in His love. Our primary offering is the Abide weekend retreats. These are a faith-based weekend retreat for small groups of women, with curated worship and Bible-based teaching interspersed with rest, reflection, and quality time in community. Founders Holly and Kiva will provide the worship, teaching, and a loose agenda for the weekend. For more information regarding available dates and other event information visit our  Event information page.

Holly lives in the country near Grand Rapids, MI with her husband and our pack of dogs and cats. Her two step-kids are grown and living in IL doing great things. Growing up, her dad was a pastor in the Wesleyan Church and those years built a faith foundation for which she’ll be forever grateful. It also gave her the chance to live in many different towns and states; one of her favorites was Wyoming. It was there that she grew her love of horses and riding which she still finds any way to be involved with today. In every part of her life, from growing up as a PK, to coaching the best kiddos and adults, to leading Bible studies and life groups, and even to her various experiences in the corporate world, she has watched the value of finding your people; the ones who show up in the hard times and who push you toward bettering yourself and your faith. She can’t wait to partner with you and your women to facilitate a space for growing in faith and relationship with your people.

Kiva Small

Kiva lives in central Indiana with her daughter and their two cats. She enjoys creating in all its forms, most often through music, but also through crafts, painting, and gardening. She’s had a passion for singing since she was kid, and greatly enjoy singing with her dad and helping him lead worship whenever possible. God has patiently worked on her over the years, stretching her in her willingness to use the gift He gave me for His glory. That journey has brought her opportunities to sing and lead on worship teams, in choirs, at youth group, women’s ministry events, and through jail ministry.  She is currently the worship leader at her church and enjoys every opportunity she gets to lead others into His presence through song!

Mission Statement

We exist to create opportunities for communities of women to rest in the presence of the Holy Spirit and practice abiding in His love.

Faith Statement

The Apostles Creed is an excellent outline of the dogma of our faith, specifically in Jesus Christ, who He is and what He has done for us. In short, He is the only Son of the one true God, part of the Holy Trinity and his death and resurrection saved us all. We fully align with Jesus’ words from the gospels identifying the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God and second is to love your neighbor as yourself.
